Find out the beauties of the oldest part of the City of Recife
The part of Recife visited on this tour is the old part, where the city begun. Founded only a few years after Olinda, Recife used to be a small portuary village. But after the Dutch invasion, during the XVII century, it grew in importance, becoming the Dutch Capital in America. Museums, plazas, art shops and a very diverse and rich architecture are going to fill your eyes with colors and passion. Get to know a little about the folklore and popular culture of the region and also about the Recife's vibrant Carnaval, its Giant Puppets and the merrymaker's fun traditions.

We will start at the Marco Zero's Square, located by the Port of Recife's Canal. From there we can see the Francisco Brennand Sculpture Park built on the big reef that protects the Old Recife area. We will also walk by the Good Jesus Street and visit the Giant Puppets Embassy (a curious tradition of the Recife's Carnaval), and also the Kahal Zur Israel Sinagogue, the mark of the first Jewish congregation in the New World.
After, we will go to the Arsenal Square and visit the Paço do Frevo, a museum dedicated to the local music - the Frevo. Also we'll get to know a little about the local folklore and popular culture at the Pernambuco Embassy.
Next, our destiny will be the Republica Square at the Santo Antônio neighboorhod, and its monuments: Saint Izabel Theatre, Palace of Justice and Palace of Government.
We will end the tour at the Cais do Sertão - a museum dedicated to the Pernambuco State's backwoods and its culture and people.

Taxi, Uber or private car with AC, from picking up point until Old Recife, and back. For bigger groups (more than 3) is possibble to adjust the vehicle and transportation - price will change.
