Koji-san was quite awesome. He spoke great English and really helped us navigate up to the top of the Fushimi Inari mountain. He was young to middle aged and in great shape for going up the steps. He took us off the normal path a few times to show us some pearls. No great Koyo viewing around there, but we really did it to enjoy the spiritual aspect of climbing to the top. After, we went to the Tofukuji Temple and walked over the outer bridge for beautiful pics of Koyo. Last, lunch at Kyoto station.
