Sintra, a fascinating small town at the foot of the mountain range with the same name is waiting for you! Endowed with luxuriant vegetation, it is part of the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park.
Fairytale castles and palaces will take you back in time; undoubtedly a special nook with unique characteristics and that led UNESCO to classify it as a World heritage site.
We'll start by driving towards Queluz Palace to visit this unique, sumptuous XVIII century royal palace, used as summer residence, with its amazing gardens - the most remarkable example of the harmonious link between landscape and palatial architecture: enjoy the incredible tasty blend of Baroque, Rococo and Neoclassicism without massive crowds!
Time for a local pastry and a drink.
A few minutes away, the Atlantic blue waters of Cascais, a XIX century old fishermen's village truly surprisingly for its noble atmosphere and beautiful beaches.
The cherry on top: scenic drive back to Lisbon along the coast, enjoying the landscape to end a perfect day!

It is extremely important that you mention luggage if it will need to be carried. The minivan is very spacious but if you're 4 carrying large suitcases, carry-ons and backpacks you really need to let me know in advance so that there aren't any surprises and things will work out just fine!
