including a visit to Novodevichy Cemetery

Let's go cycling along the Moscow river and see some of the most picturesque sights of the city.

We will go through Gorky Park - the main hangout place in Moscow and will explore Muzeon Park - a place where the most artistically valuable statues of the Soviet epoch were moved to after 1991.

The University building is another place of interest along the route - it is the tallest and the most impressive of "Stalin's Skyscrapers".

The highlight of the tour - a visit to Novodevichy cemetery - a most prestigious burial spot in the XX century with some remarkably creative gravestones.

This tour can be customized to a "after dark" one: but in this case we won't go to the cemetery, but will enjoy night views of the Kremlin instead.

A Recent Review of this tour

Maria had met us in our hotel and we had a taxi ride to gigantic Moscow University where we started the tour using public bikes. We continued to pass the green Gorki Park and concluded visiting the Novo. convent with ins beautiful incunables. The very interesting cemetery nearby made a good finish for this exciting tour which was guided with much spirit by Maria who speaks very good English and had answers to all of my many questions. All expenses had been paid by her. Last star missing for tour price.
