The amazing Canadians and their struggle for Freedom in Normandy on June 6th and the months later

I will meet you at the pier at 8am with croissants and coffees to start your day.

Then, let's go near Juno Beach In Saint Aubin sur Mer.
Landing site of the North Shore New Brunswick Regiment and Churchill tanks of Fort Gary Horse.

Then, Bernières sur Mer a few miles away.
Bernieres Sur Mer is the location where The Queens own Rifles of Canada landed. The first combat assault waves suffered terribly. I will show you the German defences here, and you will see why Canadians had so many casualties here but still got the beach quickly.
.
In Courseulles sur Mer, I will explain you by the Canadian House how Canadians stormed the beach in less than 2 hours.

Lunch on Juno Beach - Courseulles sur Mer.

Visit of the Juno Center, the only museum dedicated to the Canadians in WWII in Normandy.

Now let's pay tribute to the 2048 Canadians buried at the Canadian Cemetery in Beny sur Mer.

A Recent Review of this tour

We really enjoyed our tour of the Canadian D-Day Beaches tour by Igor. Igor was very well prepared with pictures and the history of the area. I had a list of our local soldiers who died in WW2 and Igor did an extensive search to see if any were buried in the Canadian cemetery we visited. I would highly recommend this tour!
