Experience Kingston the cultural Capitol of Jamaica and sample our world famous coffee.
Visit a world famous coffee plantation high in the mountains and learn the history of coffee and sample Jamaica's own "Blue Mountain". Walk among the coffee plants while experiencing the picturesque beauty of the Blue Mountains. Visit the grounds where Bob Marley lived and played. Walk around the yard and take pictures of the murals and artifacts about Bob then shop at the authentic "Marley" gear gift shop. See Kingston's landmarks uptown and downtown as we make our way from the Blue Mountains. Stop for a minute, visit for a few, take pictures for a second and get to know Kingston better than most natives.
You will be picked up at your hotel in Kingston. Twenty minutes later as you are traveling through the mountains, we will reach our first stop at a look out point where you will see the eastern side of the city and be informed on it's various landmarks, areas and history. Ten minutes later, we pass through "Irish Town", a small village area developed by Irish immigrants that was later used by wealthy Kingstonians to get away from the Kingston heat, and the location of the Coffee Plantation. Upon arriving at the plantation, you can explore the "old" house and garden before taking part in an interactive class on the history of coffee and indulge in a cup. After, you will take a walk into the fields for more information and a spectacular view of Kingston. Two hours later, we head into Irish town and have a nice local lunch. One hour later, we head into Kingston to visit Bob Marley's home, then start a two hour City tour of the Old and New Kingston. Then get dropped off at your hotel and escorted into the lobby.
