Travel Highland Perthshire, visit Blair Athol Castle & Edradour Distillery

First stop is the majestic UNESCO recognised Forth Rail Bridge before continuing into the Kingdom of Fife, passing Perth and onto Dunkeld to explore this beautiful wee highland village, nestled on the River Tay with a history going back to the 8th century.
A short woodland walk is next & takes us into Ossians Hall, a folly built by the 6th Duke of Athol that sits rather spectacularly on the Brann Falls. Leave an offering to the Green Man as travellers have done for hundreds of years for safe passage out of these ancient woods.
Blair Athol castle & gardens are next, steeped in Jacobite history, visited by Mary Queen of Scots and a favourite of Queen Victoria, this spectacular Castle is great for lunch and exploring the woodland.
We are off to the Queen's view. This viewpoint over Loch Tummel has been a favourite of Queens for hundreds of years and is truly spectacular.
Edradour Distillery tour awaits! World-renowned as the smallest traditional distillery in Scotland and the last stronghold of handmade Whisky.
