Zürich is Switzerland's largest city and economic center. It is also a beautiful, historically rich city beckoning to be explored on foot! Please come along on this private walking tour and discover the winding streets and learn the history of this former Roman Toll station. Your private tour begins at your hotel or at Zurich Main Station, one of the busiest stations in Europe and starts with a walk down the Bahnhofstrasse. From there we will venture off to the cobbled streets of the old town on both sides of the Limmat River. We will explore the same paths Albert Einstein and James Joyce walked when they called this city home. If you like we can also take the short ride on the Polybahn for an exceptional view of Zürich. The sights include, the Swiss National Museum, the Urania Tower, Lindenhof, some of the ancient Roman Ruins, the Rathaus, Grössmunster, Fraumünster, Haus zum Recht, St. Peter's Church, Vladimir Lenin's former home and the birthplace of Dadism.
