Cafes, Markets and neighborhoods

This will be a day through historical coffee places, markets and unique neighborhoods.

From having a breakfast in a place who is the oldest churreria in barcelona(the one who survived the civil war) to having a real food experience (not typical toruistic) for lunch with tapas, till getting lost in the gardens of Hortas labyrinth.

I will explain the way we eat tapas like "patatas bravas", "jamón ibérico", "tortilla de patatas", , "olivas", "anchoas", "Calamares a la romana", " Gambas al ajillo" and "Croquetas", and. Without forgetting all the drinks like vino, cava, cerveza, Clara, Vermut, etc.

If you love food and history as I do ¡This is your tour!

Itinerary

We will start our walking through the rambla to show you our first stop: La fontana de las canaletas (and with it, the superstition), then we will get inside in a little part of Madrid (Madrid Village Saquare) with roman ruins in the middle of the neighborhood to make our way to the petrixol street (with a lot of art on the walls) and we will stop in the Pallaresa Cafe to have the best and unique churros with chocolate.

Then we will visit: Cathedral of Pi, the Nova Square with the roman wall and the acueduct (the entrance to the old city), cathedral of barcelona, Garriga I Bachs square (Inquisition in Barcelona), Saint Felip Neri Square (Civil War in Barcelona), Bishops Bridge, City Hall, Kings Square, Saint Katerina Market.

A Recent Review of this tour

Gerardo was a wonderful tour guide. To begin, we asked to make adjustments to everything we had requested; he replied with a smile..."this is your tour", then immediately pivoted and we were off to a wonderful day in Barcelona. He seemed to specialize in subtle facts and hidden doorways that seemed different from the typical tours out there. He was just what we wanted, we highly recommend him!
