The only Tango tour that is not a tourist trap. Feel a unique part of the world's cultural heritage in Argentina

Tango is not only music but it is also a life style!!. I propose to introduce you in the mystical tango world!, teaching you how to do the first tango steps in easy and funny way in a private tango studio, and then visiting a "Milonga" (is a place where Argentinians gather to dance and listen to tango in a natural, unchoreographed, spontaneous way),
In this way, you will get to know the real tango culture, its anthropology, its origins, its present, its customs and the way of feeling and dancing it.
We will not visit the tango shows circuit or staged traditional circuits that are choreographed for tourists.
It is not compulsory to dance, and you can remain seated on a table around the dance floor, watching how people dance, eating some empanadas and listening about codes and rules of the milonga, milongueros stories and tango history.
Minimum 2 persons.
This tour is not available every day, please, ask me before booking.

Itinerary

First we'll go to a private ballroom to take the dance lesson. Then we'll visit a Milonga.
The term "Milonga" has several meanings:
It is the typical music of the cities that are near the shores of the Rio de La Plata (Argentina and Uruguay). It is the dance that starts up almost spontaneously. It is the place where dancers and amateurs go to in order to dance and feel the tango. Those who are experts and enthusiasts of this dance are called milongueros.

The Milongas are not all the same and there are many to suit all tastes. On the one hand, there are the traditional Milongas, where the clothes, the dancing level and the choice of music occupy an important place, and on the other hand, there are the more laid-back ones, where the milonga prevails as a meeting point.

Every night there is a series of Milongas in different places, for different kind of audiences. According to the profile of the passenger we will take you to the best place for that day.
