Sainte-Marie among the Hurons
This is a summer and early autumn tour only.
Visit this 17th century partly reconstructed Native Indian village about two hours north of Toronto, where the French and the Wendat Indians lived side by side. Meet a few Ojibwa Indians; learn about their way of living. The Martyr's Shrine is walking distance from the village. Then a five minute drive to Midland which is known for its murals. Lunch at a local deli. Would you like a 2. 5 hour mid-afternoon boat ride in the Georgian Bay or a swim in the 'Little Lake'?
This is an all-day excursion.
