A private walking tour discovering traditions, legends, figures of Florence
This is a tour for very curious travellers aimed to show them the most important attractions of Florence but from a special point of view. Florence, as most of Italian cities, has important ancient traditions carried on by Florentine people among the centuries. During this tour we discover these traditions strolling in the most important places of the city (Santa Croce Square, Signoria Square, the Old Bridge, Duomo Square and so on) and talking about special events occurred in those places during the millennial history of the city.
Do you know the football was invented in Florence? And do you know we have a chariot exploding every Easter morning? Our bread is unsalted, do you know why?
We are going to answer to these and more questions during this tour and of course if you have any questions, I'll be glad to satisfy your interest!
The tour takes 3 hours and it's on foot.
After we meet in the place we agreed, we will walk across Florence stopping in the most famous must-see-places like, for instance, Santa Croce Square, Signoria Square, Old Bridge, Republic Square, Medieval District, Duomo Square, San Lorenzo Square.
During the tour we can make breaks for a tasty energetic espresso or a slice of homemade cake.
We can finish the tour where you wish it finishes as, for example, besides the restaurant you have booked.

Emanuela is delightful and very knowledgeable about the rich history of Florence. She gave us exactly the tour we asked for, full of local colour and hidden treasures which we would never have discovered on our own. We highly recommend her as a guide!
