Four hour walking tour within the largest Castle Complex in the World and the medieval town beneath it
Are you looking to spend more time discovering the best that Prague has to offer? This tour divides my popular 'The Best of Prague Tour' into two days. On the left river bank, we will explore Charles Bridge, which was built in the 14th century. According to a legend, this bridge was built from stone and eggs. We will also visit Kampa Island, with its beautiful park, the Lennon Wall, an open monument symbolic of freedom. Then we will explore the Little Quarter which dates back to the 13th century and lays below the Castle.
The Prague Castle Complex is the seat of Bohemian rulers dating back to the 9th century, and is the office of the Czech president. St. Vitus Cathedral is a gothic masterpiece where you can wander around its jaw-dropping stained glass. In the Strahov Monastery you can visit 17th and 18th century library rooms. I will talk you through Czech history, culture and local traditions during this four hour family-friendly tour. If you would like to take a car, please contact me for details.
