A city private tour for a school group
This tour may be a broad survey of New York City, perhaps beginning by the guide stepping on to a coach near its entrance to the city (at Lincoln Tunnel, for example), and driving uptown through the west side theater district and by Lincoln Center. Central Park will be seen, and, weather permitting, enjoyed with a walk into it. The group may enjoy a visit to upper Manhattan, including the campus of Columbia University, and a drive through Harlem. Coming down along the Fifth Avenue, we shall pass museums such as the Guggenheim, the Metropolitan, and the Frick Collection.
The remainder of the tour will pass through Times Square, Greenwich Village, and downtown, including Wall Street and the 9/11 Memorial, if desired. This tour can be by coach, supplemented by various walks at significant parts of the tour in special neighborhoods and areas.
The itinerary would, roughly, be as described in the tour description. It would necessarily depend on how and where the group would be entering the city, or where I would meet the group if it be in the city already.

We had a great day with Bill!!! We walked all over Manhattan all day and saw a multitude of interesting sites. Being a native of New York for 42 years he has a plethora of knowledge and can answer any question in detail. He took us to excellent places for food and drink. He was fun to hang around with and was a great storyteller. We would recommend him to anyone interested in he history of NYC. 5 stars is not enough! We cannot wait for our next tour with him...the BEST!! Jim and Joe
