The Last Supper and the Renaissance age
PLEASE CONTACT ME BEFORE BOOKING THIS TOUR
Leonardo da Vinci was born in the Dukedom of Florence and raised in Florence in the workshop of an artist, Verrocchio meeting the most famous and gifted artists of his age. In 1482, looking for better job opportunities, he applied as engineer at the court of Ludovico Sforza and, finally, moved to Milan which he adopted as his new home city and where he dedicated himself to his endless interests.
What we can still see in Milan is the famous mural painting, the Last Supper (in the Last Supper Museum), the Portrait of a Musician and the Codex Atlanticus (in the Pinacoteca Ambrosiana) and his machines (in the Science Museum). But what is really worth experiencing is the Maestro's main working place, the Sforza Castle, the massive fortress where he used to work for 25 year.
