Experience the beauty, uniqueness, and magic of this area
You will experience the beauty & magic of this side/part of the Big Island, why it unique in the Hawaiian chain, and why I have chosen to live here. You will learn a lot about Hawaiian history, culture, the language, trees, fruits, flowers, birds, animals, and more. There will be many great photo ops. It will be a very educational, informative, interesting, fun, and memorable tour that you will remember & cherish the rest of your life.
As you'll see in the 6 hr tour, it starts in Hilo with the choices there and then moves either South to the Puna District and/or the Volcano Nation Park or up the Hamakua Coast and on to Waimea town in the Parker Ranch. Swimming and/or snorkeling is an option for those that enjoy that. The additional 2 hours is to extend either the distance covered, things seen & done, or just to spend a more time at the places and activities you enjoy the most.

We just came back from our Hawaii cruse. tour of the Hilo site of the big Island was a highlight of our vacation. Laurence is very knowledgeable about Hawaiian culture , history, customs. Through the tour you could feel his love for Hawaii. He took us to the places we would never be able to see with regular tours. We were able to squeeze a lot in our short 7-8 hours at the port. Laurence was very accommodating to our needs. I would strongly recommend tours with Laurence and tours by locals in general.
