Dynamic Bridgetown A Trading Space for All
Experience the fullness of this tropical port city, Bridgetown with me - its people, trading spaces, green spaces, heritage and more.
Bridgetown and its Garrison have been inscribed in June 2011 by UNESCO, as a World Heritage Site. Bridgetown has been a port city since 1628 and is the location of the world's 3rd oldest parliament.
Due to its strategic geographic location Bridgetown became a very important transhipment point within the Colonial British Empire; I share on the city's role in the development of the Empire's western hemisphere colonies.
Feel the experiences of city enslaved and freed as they adapted, improvised and overcame in their attempt to create a space to operate.

If you want a tour with probably the best guide you could ever want to meet, then book with Victor. He met us at the cruise port as arranged and took us on a walking tour of Bridgetown that included many interesting places that we would never have found if we were left to our own devices. Victor is friendly, humourous and very knowledgeable about Bridgetown and the history of Barbados in general. A fantastic tour... and the rum sours you recommended were great as well. Thank you Victor. See you next time
