Discover why the rich and famous flock to the quaint villages and towns of Long Island's East End.

The Hamptons are geographically closer to New England than mainland New York. Given their locale, the towns and villages, both architecturally and aesthetically, bear a strong likeness to those of New England. The countryside and seascapes are dotted with farms, vineyards, beaches, old harbors, marinas, fishing boats, yachts, lighthouses, wooded rolling hills and stonewalls. There is no wonder why America's most affluent find a haven of rest in the Hamptons.

We will see some of the most expensive and luxurious residential properties in the USA on our tour, with beautiful mansions and estates that slope down to the ocean's edge. We will wander the streets of small villages, with quaint shops, boutiques, galleries and cafes. Perhaps, a winery stop is to your liking?

We leave New York City in the morning; drive just over 2 hours to the Hamptons; spend the day exploring the area and return to the city in the evening. It is a longer day, but one that is relaxing and sure to be remembered.
