Iceland's must see!
We'll drive to Kerið, a crater formed about 6. 000 years ago. Then to the Great Geyser Geothermal Area, the site of bubbling mud pools and a soaring geyser (Strokkur) that erupts every few minutes. Where the river Hvítá drops 96 feet in 2 falls we'll find Gullfoss (Golden Falls) an impressive, photogenic spectacle. Taking you away from the busy tourist attractions, we'll head into the woods of Haukadalsskógur, where the troll giant Bergthor of Bláfell is buried. On this idyllic spot we will take a drink of Icelandic mountain water from nearby fresh water stream. After filling our stomach with nice refreshment in a close by restaurant, we drive alongside the largest lake in Iceland, across ancient lava fields to Thingvellir National Park. A UNESCO World Heritage Site and the only place in the world where the Mid-Atlantic Ridge, separating the Eurasian and North American plates, is above sea-level. By this we'll have concluded our Golden Circle and head back home, satisfied after a lovely day of travelling.

I drive a new 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. A well equipped and eco-friendly vehicle.
I can of course, if needed, organize tours for bigger groups which includes renting a bigger vehicle/bus. I do have a licence to drive them.
Estimated Local Cash Needed
10000 Icelandic kronas - This would be covering food and beverages. Bear in mind that in Iceland Credit Cards are welcome.
I am not a licensed glacier guide, so if wanting to go for a "glacier-walk" I would have to hire that kind of service upon request.
