The 250 km (150 mile) route includes the Parliament Plains National Park (Þingvellir) which was the site of the ancient Iceland Parliament established in 930 AD. It also includes a spouting spring at the Geysir geothermal area, and a magnificent waterfall Gullfoss (Golden waterfall).

Depart Reykjavik for the Parliament Plains National Park, Iceland's most historical place. Then head to the Geysir Geothermal Area which is famous for its spouting spring before exploring the Gullfoss (Golden Waterfall), Iceland's most famous waterfall.
