Enjoy the Girona's old town
Girona is an amazing medieval city located a 100 km to the northeast of Barcelona, on a halfway between Barcelona and the border with France.
Part of the sixth season of Game of Thrones was filmed there, so the visitors will be able to recognize different spots of the tour.
Girona is having a lot of history from already the Roman times, and it used to be a quite important county during the medieval times. Is having the most well preserved Jewish quarter in Europe from before the inquisition and the widest Gothic nave Cathedral in the world. Girona is a little jewel located in the north of Catalonia with many beautiful corners, from Romanesque and Gothic architecture to modern style buildings and an iron bridge designed by Eiffel.
Girona is so well preserved that it also becomes the perfect place to let your imagination flow away and go back in history.
