Enjoy the Highlights of the City with a private guide
This half-day tour concentrates on the highlights Auckland has to offer, while showcasing the amazing variety of interesting sites and experiences.
We visit the picturesque bays of Auckland's sparkling harbour, the summit of a volcano, and enjoy some beautiful parks which feature some of New Zealand's native trees.
We proceed through the Auckland Domain, and cross the Auckland Harbour Bridge to visit a popular city beach. At this point a short walk along the rocky coastline is available for the slightly adventurous.
There is plenty of time for photo stops, and of course for coffee. Various groups of travellers can be accommodated, and if you have special interests or requirements, please let me know.
An enjoyable, informative, quintessential Auckland tour awaits you.
We start with a drive along Auckland's waterfront. Our first stop is Paratai Drive for a panoramic view of the Harbour.
Continuing along Tamaki Drive we see the popular seaside suburb of Mission Bay, then on through St Heliers to Achilles Point to enjoy more stunning views.
We proceed through some of Auckland's more expensive suburbs to the delightful Cornwall Park—an extensive reserve area incorporating native trees, flower gardens, quaint old stone walls, and fields with sheep and cattle grazing.
Next is the option to walk to the summit of Mt Eden, the highest point in Auckland, to enjoy wide views of the city and both harbours.
We continue on to the picturesque Auckland Domain and enjoy its park-like setting.
We travel over the Harbour Bridge to Takapuna beach, arguably Auckland's best known beach. For the adventurous, a delightful short coastal walk is available (tide permitting).
We then travel back over the Harbour Bridge, and proceed to your preferred end point.
