A wonderful mixture of tradition and modernity where East meets West with a private guide
I will show you around Tokyo that has been the de facto capital of Japan for more than 400 years since 1603 when the Tokugawa Shogunate came into power, with Ieyasu Tokugawa, the first Tokugawa Shogun being given by the Emperor full authority to administer Japan. As such, Tokyo has a great number of historic, religious and cultural attractions for visitors. Selecting the most attractive places of interest from among them, this tour is a fantastic way to discover Tokyo. Of course, items in this itinerary are all optional and it would be my pleasure to take your wishes and needs into consideration for a customized tour. We can even make changes on the day!

Kenji is a knowledgeable, organized and friendly guide. He patiently answered all of our questions and did a wonderful job of teaching us a lot about Japanese history and culture. He suggested a delicious local noodle shop for lunch that has been in business for over 100 years. Kenji was also helpful in recommending other sites to see during our time in Tokyo. I recommend Kenji's tour as a great way to get an overview of Tokyo.
