A journey through Churchills London: the life and times of our greatest Statesman.
Churchill was one of our greatest prime ministers and guided us through some of the darkest hours of British history. Now considered our the famous faces of the 20th Century the world would not be the same were it for this one man.
This tour compliments those who have an interest in the man, the legend and want to delve into Churchill's London.
This tour will weave through his history in Westminster and his journey from Soldier to master Statesman. We will visit locations frequented by Churchill before finishing our tour at the Churchill War Rooms where you can have the option to enter to visit his famous wartime bunker.
To keep costs down I will let you purchase the tickets for entrance in advance online as it will mean skipping most of the queue for purchase on the day tickets.
Meeting at your chosen location we will head to Westminster, the seat of Parliament where we begin our tour.
We will walk around Westminster visiting his past residences, offices and locations that shaped his life, from where he bought his cigars and hats to his wedding venue and the locations that were made famous by this great Statesman.
The tour visits all the main tourist sights in Westminster and the West of London. Most of the sights are within a small radius of the city and easily navigable within walking distance. The odd taxi can be taken with smaller groups if required for those that do not want to walk too far.
Sights included in the tour: Buckingaham Palace, Whitehall, Downing Street, Houses of Parliament, Trafalgar Square, St. James's, Westminster Abbey exterior, the back streets of London and of course the War Bunker.

The tour will cover locations frequented by Churchill and places that made his name in London. The main sights cover the City of Westminster and the area around Horseguards, Buckingham Palace and Trafalgar square.
We will end the tour next to the War bunkers. If you choose you can enter the museum and visit it at you own pace. The museum visit will take around 1 hour but could easily take 3 hours or more depending on your pace or interest.
Walking as all the sites are close together.
