Old city and Mountain of Olives
Jerusalem is a city whose past - more than 4, 000 years old - is very much present in the present. A city in which almost every neighborhood has a special charm and historical memory, from the time of the Patriarchs through the days of the Byzantine Empire, Crusaders, Mamluks, Ottoman Empire and modern times. It is also the only city in the world that symbolizes redemption and messianism for the three monotheistic religions, with the Western Wall sacred to the Jews, Via Dolorosa and the Holy Sepulcher to Christians, and the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock to Muslims.
During the tour, we will visit the most sacred sites of the Abrahamic religions in the Old City and the Mount of Olives. We will see their beauty and talk about the religious, spiritual and historical meanings inherent to these legendary places, that elevate Jerusalem from a point on the map (strategic as it may be) into an idea, ideal and higher value to so many.
