Probably one of the best ways to enjoy and understand this beautiful city is on foot. At your own rhythm we will be walking by the downtown area and the close neighborhoods trying to find the jewels , the secrets, and the idiosyncrasy of Buenos Aires. We will talk about history, architecture, culture, economy, and any other subject you want. We can also have a coffee at a typical "porteño" cafe.
If you don't want to walk that much you can always choose my other offered tours , where we use a car or a van , depending on the number of travelers. Please ask.
This a tailor made tour, but I also have suggested itineraries. We can meet where you are staying and from there we will go to Downtown, to the starting point or we can meet there : the Metropolitan Cathedral (where Pope Francis worked for many years). Then , from there, you can choose : Downtown to the North , ending at Recoleta Cemetery, or Downtown to the South , ending at Caminito, La Boca. While the first one focus more on the elegant side of the city and its "Belle Epoque" , the second aims to the old part of town and its first port. Both itineraries are amazing!
Some places we can visit, depending on your choice :
Plaza de Mayo and Casa Rosada
Avenida de Mayo
Avenida 9 de Julio
Teatro Colon / Opera House
San Martin Square
San Telmo Market
Boca Juniors Football Stadium
Caminito / La Boca
(You can also ask for an extended tour)
