Driving to Figueras we will be talking about Salvador Dali's life from childhood, youth, his years at the Spanish academy of Art, his colleagues, his time in France and the surrealist movement and the meeting of his muse and wife "Gala", the uprising of the artist in the american society and how american culture influenced him and his work and even the recent Exhumation of his embalmed corpse.
At the Museum that used to be an old theatre building, could not be a better place for his exhibition because trough entertainment us with his work of art we will discover the creation of his parallel world of surrealism, quickly we will be laughing at all the weird things that we going to see but with my help I will try to point at you how close his parallel world is to our own world or the society that we live now days. The creation, the belief and the objects of liturgia and his influence from painters like Velázquez, Matisse, Seurat, Goya.

11:30 AM. Arrival at Figueras and Entrance to Dalí Theatre-Museum.
01:00 PM. Entrance to Dalí·Jewels museum.
01:30 PM. Lunch.
02:30 PM. Besalú (Medieval Town) or Girona City.
04:00 PM. Departure to Barcelona.
06:00 PM. Arrival to the Hotel in Barcelona.
Meeting Point + Tour Duration
Meeting Point Options: Hotel, Suggested by Guide: For those at the cruise port. the meeting point would be Christopher Columbus Statue/Round about. Can get there by 5 minutes taxi ride, cost aprox 10 euros or Bus T3, 3 euros return tickets. Some cruise lines have shuttle bus to Grand Marina Hotel/World trade Center, 5 minutes walk to Christopher Columbus statue.

Really great day with Francisco. We've used him twice now for two different tours and he's been equally excellent. He's a knowledgeable and friendly guide. He's also a fantastic photographer! By the way, the Dali Museum is one of a kind and Girona is worth the drive!
