visit throughout Brazilian arts and antiques

Aside from architecture there is a strong manifestation of Brazilian art spread in the country. In the past years the country has been gladly meeting its past. We can find different periods of Brazilian history projected on the facades of buildings or in smaller art pieces that can be now found in stores, small art galleries, museums, collectors' homes and a few other places. Most of Brazilian art is reflected on clay and wood work. During this tour our traveler is taken to the best Brazilian art collection house where some pieces can be bought. According to the person's interest we may pick a museum. Regarding crafts and souvenirs shopping, Rio offers a good option in Ipanema hippie market (available on Sundays only). Other arts or preferences such as antiques we have several different markets on the weekends. It's a tour that we carefully plan to best accomplish our traveler desires.

Brazil is a melting pot, therefore there is all sort of art variation, from the old, colonial to modernism.
The former Brazilian capital concentrates styles brought from migrants from all over the Country.
On this day we explore the old buildings facades, visit some small shops, cultural centers stopping for a coffee trying a typical "tapioca" for lunch. Gastronomically there is also lots of delicious snacks to try!

In most cases I'm a driver guide. My car which is a 2017 GM spin takes max 4 people, preferably 3. For larger groups I rent a larger Mercedez van.

100 Real - This is a rough guess for a traveler that feels like buying small crafts. Most art galleries, antique shops and markets take credit cards.

A Recent Review of this tour

This was our second day with Letitia. The weather was rainy, but that did not keep her from finding still more interesting places for us to see. She had noticed my husband's love for chocolate and took us to a great pastry shop for a light lunch. By the time we parted we felt like family.
