The best of Montreal in a 5 hourTour of Old and Modern Montreal
Welcome to Montreal's P. E. Trudeau Airport, from where we will do a 5 hour city tour, with an emphasis on Old and Modern Montreal . There is as as much or as little walking as desired, followed by a drive through Chinatown and mid-town Montreal, driving by McGill College and Montreal's Museum of Fine Arts. . (really worth visiting on your own) and the elegant neighbourhoods of Westmount and Outremont and Mount-Royal Park, , etc. . stop for a coffee and snack at Jean Talon Farmer's Market if desired (cost not included) . The Little Italy and Portuguese working-class neighbourhoods of the Plateau, and the site of the Olympic Stadium and the Botanical Gardens. I will touch on Montreal history, and the diversity of this fascinating city which offers the best of life in two languages, English and French, and many ethnic groups living in harmony. We will end the tour at your hotel by 6:00 p. m.
