Ruby's introduction to the romantic, historical neighbourhood. A must for locals and visitors.
No tour to Montreal would be complete without a walking tour of Old Montreal where the city gets its roots from. Old Montreal is Montrealers most beloved neighbourhood. We love to stroll at any time of the years, each time we discover something new.
Tour includes: An introduction to being Montreal, history, architecture, lifestyle, design, art, fashion all within the historical area. Filled with history, archecture , anecdotesand stories about Montreals past and present.
The best way to discover Old Montreal is on foot. Frequent stops are included to sit and listen. The tour is done at a leisurely pace . It is a great way to introduce yourself to old Montreal and Montreal. I introduce Montreal's eclectic architecture in an easy and fun way. Depending on the time of day and week I also have access to the inside of buildings not open to the public or other guides. (Usually confirmed on the day of the tour)
The tour is also a great combination with a half day or full day neighbourhood discovery and food tour.
The walking tour includes: Place d'Armes, St James Street, Notre Dame Street, St Paul Street, the Youville Stables, St Anne Market- Canada's Parliment, Centre d'Histoire, Point à Callière, Place J. Cartier Square, Hotel de Ville, Maison Calvet, Chapelle Bonsecours, Vieux Port and Marché Bonsecour.
All of Old Montreal can be covered in 2 and half hours.

Fascinating, informative, interesting, fun walking tour of Old Montreal with Ruby. Comfortable pace, wealth of knowledge about the history of Montreal and the area. Ruby has a great personality; we thoroughly enjoyed our time with her. We were sorry we did not take her suggestion and also book her food tour. After her description of her local eating spots we were hungry!! Thank you Ruby!
