Come with me to visit my favorite places that make NOLA special.
This is by far my most popular tour. The plan is to have a unique and wonderful time and you'll end up knowing more about New Orleans than a lot of locals. You will be picked up from your hotel in your choice of my 4Runner or an Audi Sedan. This tour is about 1/2 walking and 1/2 driving. Of course, each tour is different and catered to your interests and needs. We will explore the French Quarter by foot. Every story has a beginning and the French Quarter is where it all started. After, we're going to explore local neighborhoods including the Marigny, Bywater, Treme, St. Roch, Bayou St. John, Lake Pontchartrain, Carrollton Uptown and the Garden District. We'll have plenty of opportunities for cocktail breaks if you choose. Coffee and Beignets and a New Orleans sample dish of Crawfish Poutine, Red Beans and Rice and Shrimp and Grits are included in the tour. It might seem like a long tour but I promise it will fly by. It's a great day of adventure.
I will pick you up from your location and we'll be off to start our great day. I will customize each tour so each person's experience will be unique. Below are some highlights of we what will do.

Matt A.'s local knowledge as well as his rolodex are unparalleled! Last year we explored several wonderful neighborhoods off the Vieux Carre beaten path and it was wonderful. This year we tried something a little different. We saw an amazing museum (the Backstreet Cultural Museum) which chronicled the Mardi Gras Indian Krewe society (shout outs to Sylvester and Dominique Francis!) Then we struck north across the lake, explored lovely Mandeville and toured a really fun alligator ranch! Great job Matt!
