Bled, Bohinj, Radovljica
Lake Bled with its picturesque island, the medieval castle on the cliff and surrounded by Julian Alps is admired as a paradise. A visit of the castle and tasting of cream cake along the lakeside are a must. The rest you can adjust: one the way back to Ljubljana we can stop in a picturesque Radovljica. Those ones who like to discover the land of milk and honey, will enjoy further- 30 minutes ride to Bohinj lake. Even Agatha Christie, who was a regular visitor, could not imagine a murder in this beautiful homeland of Slovenian Goldhorn. Here we could : hike to Waterfall Savica or go by cable car to mount Vogel or visit a traditional village Studor. I know, it is difficult, but the choice is yours!

We spent two wonderful full days with Mateja touring the countryside. She is personable, highly educated and a delight to be with. Her knowledge of the country, its history and people was amazing. I had communicated with her some specific areas of interest. She far exceeded my expectations with the research, preparation and execution. I recommend you visit Slovenia, a friendly, scenic, wonderful little country. And if you do visit, I strongly recommend that you arrange for Mateja to show you around!
