Taste the Montreal Musts And The Unique Seasonal Flavours of the City that Loves Food only after Hockey
A half day driving food lovers tour of Montréal with me. I was the first guide giving food tours in Montreal since 1993 for food magazines and food travel programmes. My passion for cooking, food and culinary discoveries extends around the world. I would love to show you Montreal's unique neighbourhoods, speciality shops, iconic food places, unique kitchenware stores and of course the largest year round market in North America will be some of our stops.
Montreal is considered North America's top food lovers destination not just for fine dining but for the everyday food life. The most Southern European Mediterranean city in North America makes our island city unique in our food and living habits.
The tour is casual relaxed tour full of unusual anecdotes, and Montreal food facts. Included will be stops to taste seasonal products and Montreal flavours. Come and discover some hidden gems and the people involved in their love and passion for food in Montreal. Have a light breakfast and you may not need lunch
Tour will include stops in the
Plateau Mont Royal Neighbourhood, the most densely populated with a large group of artists residing with stops for tastings.
The Mile End Neighourhood with the largest concentration of artists workshops, unusual kitchen wear stores, microbreweries, bakeries, cafe and unqiue Montreal homes.
Little Italy and the Jean Talon Market. The largest year round out door food market in North America where we will stop to taste locally grown products.
Villeray, your local private guides neighbourhood. The neighbourhood which most resembles a village with a sense of community with is obvious.
