Learning about the Jewish Experience and Jewish life today in Russia was fascinating. Svetlana is an excellent guide who is Jewish herself so her narrative is personal, not just factual. My grandparents came from the shtetl experience so I saw my own heritage during this tour. We began in the Ethnographic Museum to learn about Jewish life in all parts of Russia and ended our day at the main synagogue and JCC where the buzzy place captured the incredible sense of community here. Svetlana is wonderful!
