8 hours VISA-free walking tour
If you want to spend your time in Saint Petersburg just walking and exploring the city as a local this private tour is special for you.
We will not have a rental van with a driver but we will use public transport - buses and subway! After meeting at the port we will go by regular bus to the metro station and then we will go to the city center (not far from the port) by underground. While walking you can chose what to visit or not, where to have lunch and where to go and I will provide you the information about Saint Petersburg and what you see.
During this tour we can't go to Peterhof park and Catherine's palace as they are located in suburbs of Saint Petersburg.
It's better to book tickets to the Hermitage museum in advance to avoid huge lines, so if you want to visit it, just give me to know.
We can always make individual plan of your stay according to your wishes.
10AM after meeting at the port, we will head to the city center.
There is no set itinerary, I will customize the tour according to your wishes, but
here are just some of the sights we can see:
- Winter Palace
- Church on Spilled Blood
- St. Isaac's Cathedral
- Peter and Paul fortress
- Nevsky avenue (main street of Saint Petersburg)

We had an amazing day in St Petersburg with Vadim. He was extremely knowledgable, very attentive and courteous at all times and his English was excellent. He obviously loved his job and was helpful throughout including helping other tourists where appropriate. We managed to see all of the places on our list plus a few others he suggested. Using the local public transport (bus & metro) and eating in a cafe used by locals gave us a really good feel of local life. We would highly recommend Vadim.
