You might wonder how it could take 4 hours to discover an island 23 miles long by 5 miles wide. Book Toussaint as a guide, and you will beg for more time! He provided an extensive tour of Basseterre, ample time at Romney Manor, plenty of opportunity to explore Brimstone Fortress, traversed a dirt road to view the "black rocks", and all this in air-conditioned comfort of his van with liquid refreshment at hand. He was a wealth of information on the island, its history, people, politics, and way of life.
