Starting from Trogir (30 minutes driving from Split), you'll have the pleasure to see the islet that is a unique monument of culture, and was therefore included in UNESCO's World Heritage List in 1997. Trogir, called "small Venice" or "the city-museum", it is considered to be one of the best preserved Romanesque-Gothic towns of central Europe.
Ending in Split, the second biggest city in Croatia. . . Diocletian's mausoleum, that ironically become Saint Domnius Cathedral (St. Domnius was martyred in the persecutions of the Emperor Diocletian), will leave you breathless. . . the chambers of the palace, an endless labyrinths. . . narrow paved streets, sculptures, open market, fish-market. . . I'll take you to the wonderful journey. . .
