I bet it's your first visit to Russian summer capital, isn't it? If so I am the person to show you all its beauty and diversity.
I love traveling myself and I am not the same having seen the moon shine on the other side of the world! I would spend my whole life traveling abroad if only I could get another life to spend at home afterward, to recollect what I have seen.
I love meeting new people and sharing my thoughts and views with them. I really enjoy talking about my country and culture and share the most interesting facts about my city. But I also feel I learn a lot from my customers: to me, doing tours is a dialogue between cultures and an open human communication.
So take your curiosity with you and welcome to Sochi!
A few words about myself. . .
I was born in Maykop - a small provincial town 130 km from Krasnodar, today - the capital of the Adygh Republic. I still call this place "my home" and visit my parents there.
I graduated from Maykop State University and was qualified for a teacher of English and German languages.
I started my working career in Sukhumi, Abkhasia, where I was a guide for the only tour operator in the USSR authorized to serve foreign tourists. I experienced a thrill when I was told I would work with German groups. I was so much focused on English being in love with the language of Shakespeare, but my German tourists helped me to widen my vocabulary and master the grammar and in a short time I was feeling at ease with German too.
Years later, working for the same company in Sochi, I also learned Finnish and worked with Finnish groups.
Then I got married and had to leave this fantastic city for Turkmenistan where my husband worked.
My husband is a retired military officer so we traveled much - we have moved nine times and I know what's it all about to pack a lot of household articles in a night's time! Now packing a suitcase for traveling is a real pleasure for me. We have finally moved to his home city Sochi in 2000 and since then I am back to my profession again. Speaking English is my life and the more I learn the more I understand I know just a few of it. I have discovered a great pleasure, too, in teaching Russian to English speaking students.
My hobbies are knitting, crocheting, and sewing. I absolutely adore all kinds of applied arts, I love theater, cinema, and music. I am open-minded, eager for new knowledge and discoveries, caring and with a good sense of humor (at least, I hope so).
