Welsh culture, villages and landscapes
Our personalised itinerary offers exceptional value and encompasses the highlights of north wales' natural beauty and cultural heritage. You will have freedom to explore at your own pace and immerse yourself in the Welsh culture. It is the perfect way to experience the regions glittering lakes and views to the majestic Mount Snowdon, Wales' highest peak.
This tour is specifically designed to showcase all that is Wales. We visit the historic town of Conwy and walk along the town wall built to enclose the inhabitants and protect from invasion. We then head towards the village of Betws-y-coed for a gentle stroll to soak up the atmosphere and buy souvenirs. In the afternoon a short walk on a stone path leads us to the lake at Cwm Idwal, Wales' first national nature reserve offering stunning mountain vistas and the essence of the local environment. There are several options available after this which include Dolbadarn castle, Caernarfon castle and a walk to Aber falls. I like to tailor the itinerary to my clients needs, some of whom are keen to walk further and some to experience the historic towns in more detail.

Jim was a terrific guide! We had great fun exploring Snowdonia and would highly recommend his tour. He customized a slower version of his tour for us due to mobility issues in my family, and we would not change a thing. Make sure Jim takes you to his favorite spot for a meal...it was fantastic! Jim was very communicative during the process, and we surely hope hope we get to see him again on our next visit.
