A guided tour to visit some of the major locations around Snowdon, North Wales.
North Wales is famous for it's myths and legends as well it's amazing mountain scenery. We will spend the day touring and visiting some of the locations that highlight these so well. Our tour can be customized if required but we will aim to visit Llanberis at the foot of Snowdon (Wales's highest peak at 1085m). Here we have Dolbadarn Castle and the fascinating Llanberis Slate Museum. Our route will then take us via Nant Gwynant and into Beddgelert, home of the famous grave of Gelert. The return journey will be via Rhyd Ddu to give a different perspective of Snowdon.
Along the way we have the option of calling into local cafes for tea/coffee as well as into a local Hotel or pub for lunch.
The itinerary can be tailored to suit the client's wishes or timings.

I completely lucked out getting Stephen as my tour guide. My goal was to experience the mountains and Snowdonia, and Stephen is a native of the area, and as a climbing guide has a deep understanding of local history, towns, and culture. We visited some fantastic mountain vistas, local historical regions, and we never ran into a large tour bus. I don't think you will find a more experienced, thoughtful, and conscientious guide.
