Skip the line and discover the Sistine Chapel with a professional Archaeologist
This private tour includes the Sistine Chapel, the collection of Roman statues, the Gallery of the Maps, the Tapestry, the so called Raphael's rooms (where the painter Raphael, opponent in art of Michelangelo, worked) and St Peter's Basilica.
We will skip the long line at the entrance with a priority special ticket.
During the tour you will discover the transformation of the Vatican City over the centuries, the reasons why the Pope lives there and the evolution of Michelangelo's style during the almost ten years of work in the Sistine Chapel.
I'll lead you to my favourite spots where the view is the best for a great picture.
The tour will end in St. Peter's Basilica, the biggest church in the world where we will have an other priority access to skip the line there as well.

Dress code: The Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's Basilica have a dress code. Shoulders and knees have to be covered. Shorts are allowed just if they cover the knees.
We don't have the same restrictions for the rest of the Vatican; bring with you a scarf of a jumper to cover shoulders and knees when required. The dress code applies to women, men and kids.
Only small backpacks or handbags are allowed.
On rare occasions St. Peter's Basilica can be closed without any notice. If this happens, we'll visit another section of the Museums.
