Immerse yourself in Bangkok's royal architecture, temples, and canals on a shore excursion from Laem Chabang Port. With all transport by comfortable van, you'll see some of Thailand's countryside on your way to the capital, where you'll visit the Grand Palace, see a gleaming Buddha at Wat Pho, Wat Arun then cruise Bangkok's historic canals in a longtail boat. This full-day Bangkok tour includes entrance fees, pickup and drop-off at the cruise terminal, as well as free time for lunch and souvenir shopping.

Itinerary

Your full-day shore excursion will begin with a convenient pickup from Laem Chabang Cruise terminal after your ship docks. Drive approximately 2 hours, enjoying the local scenery outside your window.
Upon arrival, you will visit the Grand Palace that is home to the stunning Emerald Buddha.

Next, proceed to a long tail boat and cruise along the canals before to Wat Arun and Wat Pho. Arguably one of the most well-known attractions of Bangkok, this temple is home to the largest reclining Buddha. It is also the ancient Thai massage study center.

Enjoy a stop at a local restaurant to feast on lunch (own expense) before proceeding to partake in some shopping, if time permits. Pick up local souvenirs to take home with you, so you always have a piece of the Kingdom of Thailand with you.

Other: Dress Code: There is a strict dress code for visiting the Grand Palace. The Temple of the Emerald Buddha is Thailand's most sacred site. Visitors must be properly dressed before being allowed entry to the temple. Men must wear long pants and shirts with sleeves - no sleeveless tops. If you're wearing sandals or flip-flops you must wear socks (in other words, no bare feet.) Women must be similarly modestly dressed. No see-through clothes, bare shoulders, etc.
