A Tour specially designed for Cruise Ship passengers who require only a half day to explore.
Join me in a fascinating journey through the narrow streets of the Old Jewish Quarter of Dublin. I will share with you a fascinating glimpse into the past and I will regale you with treasured memories going back to my Grandparents times. I will make it a special and personal experience for you sharing these memories as we amble through this very historic area of Dublin.
Join me for refreshments in the Bretzel Bakery, baking wonderful Kosher breads, bagels and goodies since 1870. You can leaf through my old family photos and documents which will further enhance your experience.
Then come with me to see the treasured memorabilia in the Jewish Museum, just around the corner and then to the Old Synagogue in Walworth Road. Next we will take a scenic drive south along the coast to Sandycove to see the historic Martello Tower containing the James Joyce Museum-visited by Joyce and visited by Leopold Bloom in the classic book Ulysses.

I found Peter charming and in possession of a wealth of knowledge about the Jewish history in Dublin. My only request to improve the tour would be to enable the synagogues to be accessible. (which is not Peter's fault).
