A private guided visit of Florence and the Accademia, plus a whistle-stop in Pisa
Here's an ideal way to get the feel of the city and to see some of its most famous examples of art and architecture. Your day starts early, in Livorno, where you're picked up to go directly to Florence.
Our walk starts in the city center with some unique examples of Medieval and Renaissance architecture, including Orsanmichele church, Piazza della Signoria, Palazzo Vecchio and onwards to the famous Ponte Vecchio. After a lunch break, we walk to the Duomo and onwards to the Accademia to see Michelangelo's famous statue (as well as other of his works).
On our way back to Livorno we stop briefly in Pisa to see Piazza dei Miracoli (the Square of Miracles) with its Cathedral, its Baptistery and its famous Leaning Tower.
Pick up at the port of Livorno.
Travel by road to Florence.
Walking tour through Piazza Della Repubblica, The Duomo, Piazza Signoria, Palazzo Vecchio, Ponte Vecchio
Short lunch break, then on foot to the Accademia to se Michelangelo's 'David'.
On the way back, a stop in Pisa at the Square of Miracles to see the Cathedral, Baptistery and the famous Leaning Tower.
Lastly, return to Livorno port.
