Cádiz and Seville have been always very important for Spain since ancient times. Both connected thanks to the Guadalquivir river.
We are seemingly able to state that the natural bay of Cadiz has always sheltered a port or important centre of harbour activity on its shores, perhaps even a certain number of them of relative splendour at some moments in time, dating from the founding of the present town of Cadiz (dating back to the year 1104 BC ) until the Punic and Roman domination, when Gades became the most important Hispanic city and the third most important of the Romain Empire in Europe.
From this port you can visit Seville, the other most important town in terms of trading throughout History.
From the port in Cádiz, ( 1 hour drive to Seville) a comfortable vehicle will take you to the beautiful city of Seville, where I will show you the most important areas, such as the Spanish Square, its monuments (Cathedral, Alcazar. . . ), ancient Jewish quarter . . .
taking advantage of having a vehicle, we will also have a drive along the avenue where it was celebrated the Iberoamerican Exhibition in 1929, enjoying beautiful pavilions where the countries which participated in it, showed their own gastronomy and traditions.
We will go back to the ship after this amazing tour.

Ariadna was a terrific guide with extensive knowledge of the art, religion. & history of Seville, & showed my wife & I a wonderful time in Seville. She had a great deal of knowledge & wonderful stories about the area. Because of my wife's mobility problems, Ariadna obtained a wheelchair for my wife without which she probably couldn't have done the tour which was first rate. She is first rate. Carolyn & Ed
