I was born in Madrid, but I came to live in Seville, THE MOST BEAUTIFUL CITY IN SPAIN when I was 5 years old and ever since I have been living here.
I have been working as a local guide in Seville for more than 20 years, so I know the city very well and I also know how to present it, so that you, who are coming probably to visit us only once, can make the most of your time and have an unforgettable experience.
I deliver fun-filled tours with a balanced combination of humor, history and anecdotes.
Seville is an almost 3. 000 years old city. Phoenicians, Carthaginians, Romans, Visigoths and Muslims have left their trace in this city. During the 16th and 17th Centuries, Seville was the New York of the time, the City that connected two worlds, America and Europe, thanks to the navigability of the Guadalquivir River. It was from here when Magellan started the first tour around the world. The first light Velázquez ever saw, was Seville light. And in the 19th Century, the Romanticist writers found inspiration in our city. Carmen, Figaro, Don Juan are some of the myths of Seville. Today it is the capital of Andalusia and a very charming city, worth visiting.
Seville is not only rich in History, but Folklore and Gastronomy are also very important. Flamenco and Tapas are essential to be discovered if you come to visit us.
Let me show you around! Here you have some tours, but I can customize a tour for you to meet your needs and expectations. Bike tours, a Cruise along the Guadalquivir River, Tapas Tours, Olive Oil Tasting, Sherry Wine Tasting, a Walking Tour focus on the Operas Seville has inspired, a visit focuses on the different private palaces, like The Lebrija House (best-paved palace in Europe) or the House of Pontius Pilate. . . and many more options.
Just tell me what you are interested in and I'll help you create the right tour for you.
A Recent Review of this guide
Julia impressed us with her comprehensive knowledge! Not only was she able to answer any questions we had re the different sites ( Alcazar/Gardens, Jewish Quarter, Cathedral) we visited, she also has a vast knowledge re the historic factors which have made Seville such a wonderful and impressive city. We would always recommend her and are sure that she is one of the best!
