You'll discover the lush scenic beauty of the South Coast of the Crimea on this comprehensive excursion. You'll visit Alupka Palace where Churchill stayed during the Yalta Conference. Designed by Edward Blore, one of the architects of Buckingham Palace, it once was summer residence of Count Vorontsov. You'll admire a magnificent view of the Swallow's Nest, a palace with towers and spires, resembling a fairy-tale castle which clings to an inaccessible cliff. Sitting down to a delicious lunch at a cosy local restaurant will be a relaxing interlude. You'll also visit Livadia Palace, the former summer residence of Czar Nicholas II and the place of historic conference between Roosevelt, Stalin and Churchill (1945). Visit to Chekhov's house-museum where you'll feel the atmosphere of Chekhov's everyday life and creative activity and see the orchard planted by Chekhov himself, and the study where the famous writer was working at "the Lady and the Lapdog", "the Cherry Orchard" and others.
On the way from Sevastopol to Yalta you'll admire beautiful landscapes and make several photo-stops (on Laspy Pass, at th foot of the Red Rock where the Resurrection Church in Foros is located) and see the site of Michail Gorbachev's summer residence.
