Tailor made walking tour with guide lived many years in the heart of Gdansk
See the oldest part of Gdańsk with short stop on Solidarity Square.
Walking alongside the Royal Way you will see the rebuilt houses belonged in the past to rich patrician families of Uphagen, Ferber, Schwarzwald, Main Town Hall, Artus Court and houses rented by kings visited the town.
We will cross Mariacka Gate to see beautiful Mariacka Street with fore-terraces and many shops with amber.
In the biggest gothic world church made of bricks St. Mary's church we will admire the great astronomical clock from XV century, old sculptures and copy of the famous painting of Hans Memling "The Last Judgement".
On the bank of Motlawa River we will set eyes on the Old Crane worked many ages in the harbour.
We will not miss also the Great Armoury, place where guns, balls were stored in the past with façade designed by Dutch architect.
If you wish we can stop on Piwna Street to taste famous pierogi or beer made in small local brewery.
Among others you will see the main objects in the Old Gdansk: the Upland Gate, Golden Gate, Coal Market, Długa Street, Uphagen House, Main Town Hall, Neptune Fountain, Artus Court, Mariacka Street, St. Mary's Church, Old Crane, Great Armoury.

On the way we will stop for a short while on Solidarity Square.
Programme can be changed according to your request on the spot and the entrance to other chosen objects like: Main Town Hall, Amber Museum, Uphagen House, Maritime Museum, Archeological Museum can be included.
If the change affects the tour time prolongation additional price USD 35 per hour will be paid at the end of the tour.
Please note that museums are closed on Monday and Main Town Hall and other objects can be closed due to official meeting. In such case the entrance to some other museum or object will be suggested and mutually agreed.

or other agreed place.

End location: We can end the tour in Gdansk/Gdynia harbour or in place agreed at the beginning.
After the tour you can go yourself to not visited during the tour museums, to have your lunch, to have a rest in cafe, to go to cinema, to take a boat (from May to September) to Westerplatte, Sopot, Gdynia, Hel.
I can help you to reserve place for lunch or dinner where you can taste traditional Polish dishes like pierogi (dumplings), golonka lunch (knuckle lunch), schabowy z kapustą (pork cutlet with cabage), gołąbki (stuffed cabage with rice) barszcz (beetroot soup), żurek (sour soup) and others.

The duration can be affected by weather, crowds, many visitors in museums and St. Mary's Church etc.
In case of bad weather conditions programme can be changed a little bit.
