Walking Tour/ Historic Downtown Savannah 2- 1/2 hrs (2 people)
Savannah: A Walking the City Tour-2 ½ hours
One of the best ways to see beautiful Savannah is on foot. My private walking historic tour is more like a stroll through our beautiful historic squares with history thrown in. Majestic oak trees draped in Spanish moss, elegant colonial and classic southern homes border each square. Oh and let's not forget the beautiful Savannah River, alive with giant cargo ships and the toots of tugboat whistles. Savannah is home of one of the five largest ports in the United States. Wear very comfortable, flat shoes-sneakers are the best option. This walk includes cobble stoned streets and ramps down to the river. This starts in early morning/late afternoon or evening during the summer months when it is very hot. I provide bottled water for my guests. The morning tour can begin as early as 7:00am. Choose your time with the weather in mind. The late evening tour begins at 7:00pm (available Mon. - Thursday only).
