The beaches here are gorgeous, but I soon found out that, tempting as they were, there was much more to see and do. So I worked at three Sarasota-area museums, doing historical research, preparing exhibits on local history, and giving talks. The information I learned is now put to good use in sharing my beloved city with visitors like you.
I think Sarasota is a great place to live, partly because of the interesting personal stories that have shaped its wonderful scenery, both natural and man-made, and that continue to influence the area's artistic vibe. I've traveled many places in the world, and always try to create unique tours for myself wherever I go. How much more fun it is to create tours that provide the "inside scoop" about an area I know so well!
I've taught high school and college in the past, and more recently for adults. In my spare time I love to explore neighborhoods, buildings and landscapes that make my chosen home so special. I look forward to sharing the area's beauty and history with you.
All tours can be customized to your schedules and/or preferences. Please message me if you want something specific.
